Limassol Holidays

Some things you can do in your Limassol holiday

Limassol is the epitome of holiday spots in the Mediterranean. From the Limassol Wine Festival every September to the party during the Limassol Carnival, every February/March, Limassol always has something on for the tourists. The WRC Cyprus Rally occurs every Autumn, attracting thousands in the region to come and visit.

Or would you rather the Time Elevator? An audiovisual experience giving a half hour ride through the history of Cyprus – what a way to learn that! Then there is Galatex, an area where there is plenty of entertainment in the pubs, night clubs and cafes for those with the active lifestyle.

Limassol does stick with his heritage though. There is the medieval castle, surrounded by popular shopping areas. After a long day of exciting shopping, you can chill to a seafront walk in the evening or even walk along a wooden promenade along the sea opposite the kingdom of Amathus.

The culture of the area can also be seen by a drive down to the Kourion, where The House of Achilles and The Altar of Appollo is located. Enjoy the day with Curium Beach as well, great for jet-skiing.

Enjoy wine? There are wine producing villages dotted along the southern foothills of the Troodos mountains.

Clearly, Limassol has much to offer for any tourist. You’ve got much to look forward.
